Elsevier, a world leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, and the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), today announce the recipients of the 6th Annual NASI ScopusT Young Scientist Awards. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony yesterday evening at The Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi, in the presence of the Honourable Dr. T. Recognizing India's increasing contribution to world science, Elsevier instituted the Scopus Young Scientist Awards in 2006 to honor the talent, knowledge and expertise of India's early career researchers. In 2009, Elsevier partnered with NASI, institutionalizing the Awards within the Indian scientific community.
