Alteva CSO To Discuss Cloud Opportunities In Channel @ UC3 Summit

Alteva, a leading cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) solution provider that is a subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (NASDAQ: WWVY) (referred to as WVT Communications Group), today announced that its Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Louis Hayner will join executives from Communication Resources Inc.

(CRI), j2 Global Communications, Meetrix, SimpleSignal and TrueCloud to discuss “The Great Cloud Debate – Is It For Everyone?” at the UC3 Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 8th from 3:05-3:45pm. Panelists will discuss the various cloud models available on the market today and explore security and financial issues and how they relate to the end user and channel partner community.
“Since channel partners have many choices when it comes to vendors, it is important that they understand the current technological capabilities of their vendor marketplace. With this knowledge, channel sales partners may effectively solve their customers’ challenges by providing the latest solutions currently in demand that will also increase their revenue opportunities,” said Hayner. “Education is crucial if the channel community is ever going to fully leverage the cloud. It’s no longer a matter of selling on cost, but more about selling on the benefits of these solutions.”
Hayner is regarded as a champion of the channel partner sales model. Under his leadership, the sales channel at Alteva has grown substantially in the past five years, culminating in Alteva being acquired by WVT Communications Group in late 2011. Playing a critical part in Alteva’s growth, Hayner spearheaded the launch of Alteva’s Wholesale and Channel Partner programs, while helping grow the company’s revenue by 62% within the first year.
Additionally, Alteva Regional Sales Manager Guy Yasika will participate on a UC industry panel at the CompTIA UC & Collaboration Industry Symposium, a pre-day event for the UC3 Summit, on February 6th at 1:30pm. Key industry constituents from NACR, The Via Group and other UC experts will join Yasika in a discussion about how the latest industry developments are impacting their businesses on a practical level.
