National Seminar On BCP/DR To Be Held In New Delhi

Tuesday, February 28, 2012:
Indian Institute of Technologies, Delhi is organizing a one-day national seminar on Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Management (BCP/DR) in collaboration with Sanovi Technologies, the leader in Disaster Recovery Management software, on March 2nd, 2012 at Vishwakarma Bhavan in IIT, Delhi Campus.
The seminar is aimed at promoting knowledge sharing among experts from Academia, Industry, and Government, to discuss challenges, technologies, and solutions of business continuity planning, and IT disaster recovery management. The speakers are drawn from a wide area of disciplines including Officers from NIC and DIT, Analysts from Gartner, Professors, CIOs and Industry experts from Vendor community among other. The conference will be inaugurated by Sachin Pilot, Minster for State, Department of ICT, Government of India, and will be addressed by R S Sharma, Director General, UIDAI.

This seminar encompasses sessions on IT Disaster Recovery landscape; Understanding DR needs and experiences, DR technology-state of art; and panel discussions, and is expected to provide powerful insights about what goes into achieving effective BCP/DR for organizations and in e-Governance projects.
