"The World of Lapp" Can Now Be Downloaded For Tablet Computers

The 2012 edition of the main Lapp Group catalogue, "The World of Lapp", is now also available for the first time as an app that can be downloaded for tablet computers, making it even more convenient and user-friendly. This will be particularly handy for engineers and technicians who are frequently on the move: instead of having to select the right products from a 1,000-page catalogue weighing 2.4 kilos, they will only need to carry around a 680-gram iPad, for example.

The "Lapp catalogue" app is available free of charge for iPads and Android tablet computers in both German and English, and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Users can then use their tablet computer to explore the world of Lapp, including a wealth of branded products, technical tips and services, without needing to be connected to the Internet. The Lapp catalogue remains unmatched in terms of the wide selection of products on offer. The portfolio includes cables and highly flexible connections, industrial plug-in and screw connectors, automation technology and technical accessories. Customers will find connection solutions for virtually any application in the main Lapp catalogue, from mechanical and plant engineering and electronics manufacturing to rapidly expanding sectors such as renewable energy, mobility and life sciences. Of course, the app also includes all the new developments introduced by the Lapp Group at the Hannover Messe 2012.
