SAP Bullish On Business Mobility, Launches Mobile Solutions Center

SAP India, a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today unveiled its Mobile Solutions Center (MSC) in Mumbai. The MSC is dedicated to help customers experience SAP’s mobile innovations as well as understand how to integrate mobile solutions into their business strategy. The center will connect businesses with SAP mobile industry experts where they can learn best practices and to develop or expand their mobile strategy. Companies visiting the center have the ability to interact with SAP solutions in the experience zone where they can gain hands-on experience of real-time mobile scenarios across industries.

Customers will be able to familiarize themselves with the wide range of SAP mobile business apps, built on a robust mobile platform, that can deliver and secure, real-time, business-critical information across employees and customers. With the launch of Mobile Solutions Center, SAP reaffirms its commitment to enable customers do “business in the moment” and to partner in their efforts to emerge as best-run businesses.
Mobility is transforming the way businesses are run. By processing more than 1.8 billion messages per day, reaching 5.5 billion subscribers and representing more than 90 percent of the world’s total mobile population, SAP with its Mobile Solution Center will bring the power and simplicity of consumer mobile technology to the business world.

The MSC will showcase several SAP mobile solutions including the SAP mobile platform, SAP Afaria, Sybase 365 Mobile Commerce Solutions and SAP Rapid Deployment solutions amongst others. Businesses can run their apps on any mobile device such as smart phones and tablets on Blackberry, iOS and Android. The Mobile Solutions Center in Mumbai is SAP’s third in the world and second in India (after Bangalore). There are ten more Solutions Centers planned or ready across the globe, including upcoming one in New Delhi.
