HP Launches All-New Power Efficient Desktop, The HP Pavilion P2

HP today announced the launch of its power-efficient desktop, the HP Pavilion P2 that is capable of cutting the customers’ desktop-related energy costs by upto 60% percent as compared to the power consumption by conventional desktops. This stylish, streamlined and affordable desktop works on a 90W power adaptor as against conventional desktops that work on 250W power supply units, resulting in upto 60-70%* less power consumption under normal usage conditions and savings of almost Rs.6001(1)

“With the onset of summers in India, consumers are facing regular power-cuts especially in Tier 2 and 3 cities. To counter this issue, HP’s newly launched Pavilion P2 desktop consumes such low power that even a regular UPS can support this product with up to 1 hour of back-up, for the uninterrupted computing experience.” stated Mr. Vinay Awasthi, Senior Director, Products & Marketing, PPS, HP India.

The HP Pavilion P2 Desktop comes in two versions – one with an Intel Pentium G630T Processor and the other with the Intel Core i3 2120T Processor. It also has built-in Vision Technology that gives super-sharp photos and smooth and vivid HD video playback. In addition to these, this desktop is packed with all the essential features required for e-mail, social networking, homework, personal finances, and casual Web browsing, a must for every day computing. Clean lines and carefully calculated space configuration enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the HP Pavilion P2 desktop, making it the perfect choice for your home.
Availability and Price
This product is available in the India market at a starting price of INR. 23,500(2) with a 18.5” (47 cms) LED monitor with inbuilt speakers and comes with a 1 year onsite warranty.
