Signal Processing and Biomedical Electronics Research Group in association with ITM University is organizing this workshop. ITM University is an institute among India’s foremost independent multidisciplinary universities.
On day one, workshop witnessed huge gathering of faculty from various streams including electronic and communication, instrumentation, electrical and computer science. The workshop proved to be a learning platform for the participants as it focused on MATLAB, a language of technical computing and LABVIEW, a software development environment.
Spread across three days the workshop brings various sessions on concepts such as ‘Image Processing Toolbox using MATLAB’, ‘Control system & its applications using MATLAB’ and ‘LABVIEW for Digital Electronics and Signal Processing’ highlighted the relevance of MATLAB and LABVIEW in data analysis and data acquisitions.
Lectures by eminent professors from IIT Delhi; NSIT, Delhi and reputed organizations including Innovative Solutions, National instruments and Mathsworks.
According to Prof. Prem Vrat, Vice Chancellor and Professor of Eminence, ITM University, “For any institute, faculty is the cornerstone of its success. In this competitive world it is very important to be up to date on new developments that take place in the world of knowledge. We thank Signal Processing and Biomedical Electronics Research Group on an excellent collaboration and assure that such partnership will continue in future.”
“The aim of workshop is to expose the participants to the use of MATLAB and its applications as well as LABVIEW. The workshop will also provide hands on experience with MATLAB software starting from fundamentals by performing various experiments,” said Prof A N Jha, Director, School of Engineering and Technology.
