Uninor Announces 48% Discount On Its STV 83

Monday, July 16, 2012: This has never happened before. Uninor introduces the concept of discounts on its STV offers. For the first time, Uninor’s STV 83 will be available for only Rs. 43 as STV 43. Customers will pay Rs. 40 less for the same pack that gives them 3000 All India Seconds and 10000 Local Uninor seconds for 30 days. The local / STD call tariff in this pack will be 1.2 paisa per second for a period of 90 days.

This now makes Uninor’s STV 43 the most affordable plan available to make a GSM phone call in AP.

Speaking on the re-launch of this value offering Mr. Satish Kumar Kannan, Business Head, AP Circle, Uninor, said, “We all love discounts. Why not get them on mobile phone plans. STV 83 has been our most popular plan in AP and we now offer a 48% discount on it. This means the same benefits you were getting by paying Rs. 83 are now available at just Rs. 43. This also means that Uninor is now the most affordable phone call you can make in AP.”

Customers can avail of STV 43 via paper coupons or e-recharge from over 28000 retailers and 109 Uninor branded stores across AP. This offer is available to Uninor’s 40 lakh customers in AP and is part of the company’s range of cost effective and pocket friendly mobile plans. Being the youngest and fastest growing mobile operator in the country, Uninor is also AP’s most preferred GSM network and acquired the maximum number of new subscribers across the circle in May 2012 (COAI May 12).
