Thursday, July 19, 2012 Go Tech Digital Pvt. Ltd, unveiled the first of its kind tablet today for the Indian market – Funtab Fit tablet. This tablet is a unique blend of fun, education and health and promises to deliver a high-quality and engaging consumer experience.






In the recent past, the market of Tablets has grown by leaps and bounds. Go Tech’s new creation Funtab Fit is a complete 360 degree package for its consumers with varied needs. Competitively priced at Rs. 5,999/-, this tablet is packed with 25 inbuilt fun, education and health applications.

The tablet comes with tech-rich features like a Capacitive Touch screen; Android 4.0 platform; a 7 inch 800*480 Resolution LCD, in addition to a high performance and low power CPU. The tablet comes with a Front Camera and 512 MB RAM, with an internal memory of 4GB expandable to 32GB. The tablet supports HDMI, USB flash drive, mouse, keyboard and other data sharing tools. It has a robust 3600 mAH battery and also provides 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Gaurav Khanna, Managing Director, Go Tech Digital Pvt. Ltd. said, “The Indian tablet market at the moment is extremely volatile and has tremendous growth opportunities. Realising that the consumers are increasingly using new devices and technology in health and education fields, we have come up with our new offering, which takes care of the rising aspirations of the present-day tab user. Our Funtab Fit is an addition to our existing portfolio of tablets FoneTab and FunTab fusion. Our endeavour is to provide value for money proposition coupled with enhanced features for a great user experience.”

“With the launch of Funtab Fit, we will be tying up with a hospitals and health institutions to enable the consumers get easy access of hospital doctors and other health related facilities at just one click. We will be tying up with schools and colleges to empower teachers, parents and students with information that is easy to access and assimilate,” he added

The Funtab Fit comes with pre-loaded applications like Guide My Treatment (exclusive in-built app), which will help bridge the gap between the medical world and the patients, globally and also help them get timely attendance to their problems in a simple and hassle-free manner. Attano Edu TV and Ebook Player, on the other hand, are a fun way for students to learn by accessing Interactive educational ebooks and edu tv. Furthermore, Hungama My Play and Bollywood App enables consumers to download and create their own playlists of music and other entertainment content and Funbazaar is a bunch of 20 fun Loving Applications like Tic Tac, Sukoudo, Crosswords, Chess etc.

Users of Funtab Fit tablets can enjoy a hassle-free experience as these devices come bundled with an entire ecosystem, which is being created by O-Zone, consisting of Tier 1 public hotspot locations (like malls, cafes, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, railways etc.), device player partnerships (like Go Tech, etc.) and content player partnerships (like Google, Yahoo)

Go Tech’s Wi-Fi enabled tablets come with O-Zone Wi-Fi vouchers, which allow its users to gain Wi-Fi access at O-Zone’s high profile hotspots across India. This implies that the users can seamlessly roam across all O-Zone hotspots in India. As part of the deal, consumers will be able to use Free Wi-Fi at outlets such as McDonalds, Café Coffee Day, Subway, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Nirula’s, Comesum, among others.

Funtab Fit comes with 1 year manufacturing warranty, with service centres located across the country.
