The SABA-CEO summit was held with a view to take the Digitization process to the next level and was attended by the CEO's of more than ten member countries. At the summit the ABN-Exset consortium presented and dedicated 'The Africa Page" to the SABA nations as a part of the DTT transition. The Africa Page' probably the single biggest step taken in the realms of digital television which in essence gets governance, information and entertainment to the door-step of every African national on his television set. Coupled with the telecom revolution this potentially translates into a television centric commerce platform which would transform consumer buying across Africa
The Exset partnered consortium brings a 360 degree offering touching every element of digitization including Content, Teleshopping, Magazine Services, Governmental Services, Digital Asset Management, Education to name a few -bringing an unparalleled African experience to the member countries.
The model also proposes to drive revenues to an extent where the digitization process becomes self-financing in a span of three years - something which makes this endeavor more endearing.
Mr. Alex Borland -CEO -Exset said, "We are thankful to SABA for giving us this opportunity and we dedicate the Africa Page to SABA. Furthermore we will ensure that the Africa page touches and improves the life of every African who is touched by this digital revolution."
