‘A-Tick Mark’ validates++ the international safety standards of Micro VBB. With product approval for Micro VBB from TUV –Rhineland, Micro Technologies can go ahead for the speedy introduction of Micro VBB in 45 different countries across five continents particularly Australia where the company is currently making deeper inroads. ‘A-Tick Mark’ has given Micro Technologies a clear lead over competition in the global market. As it is from an internationally well known certification body, it acts as a carte blanche and obviates the need for going for other compliance certifications from different testing bodies. Speaking from Sydney, Australia, Dr. George, the company’s Business Partner & Chief Distributor stated “We believe this will open up a huge market for Micro VBB in Australia with immediate business opportunities of 10-15,000 VBB units.” Announcing the honor received, Mr. Karthikeyan, Chief Operating Officer, Micro Technologies India Ltd said, “Micro Technologies has added one more feather to its cap. ‘A-Tick Mark’ demonstrates our compliance and commitment to international safety and security standards and enables us to introduce Micro VBB in new geographies especially in Australia where we are expanding at present”.
Micro Technologies has already received compliance certifications for its Micro VBB from other prestigious national and international testing organizations like PESO, ERTL, EMC and SAIAS.
‘A-Tick Mark’
A product which is subject to telecommunications standards can use the ‘A-Tick Mark’ to show compliance with both telecommunications and EMC standards. The compliance label indicates that the device complies with the applicable standards and establishes a traceable link between the device and the manufacturer, importer or their agent responsible for compliance and for placing it on the Australian market. It is also an indication to the user that the device can be connected to a telecommunications network operated by a carrier or carriage service provider. The ‘A-Tick Mark’ compliance may also be placed on promotional material associated with the device.
