Apple iPad Pro:
(Monday, August 31, 2015 3:00:48 PM IST)
Microsoft may have been first to the tablet market with their failed attempt to launch a Windows XP tablet in 2012, but it was only when the Apple iPad hit stores that the tablet market really exploded. It will no doubt be frustrating to Redmond to have made the first move into larger, content creation themed tablets with the Surface with only moderate success to see the predictions that the Apple iPad Pro will be the device to really take that market into maturity.

Galaxy Tab S2: A Lighter Tablet With
(Friday, August 28, 2015 12:30:43 PM IST)
Last night I made my way to the rooftop of a New York City hotel to pick up Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S2, the sequel to last year's reasonably well-regarded Galaxy Tab S. The new tablets, which come with 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch varieties that share most of the same specs, build upon their predecessors in most of the right ways—they're a little faster, they trade a movie-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio for a reading-and-productivity-friendly 4:3 aspect ratio, and the old swipe-based fingerprint reader has been tossed out in favor of one you can simply press.
