The Korean handset maker reportedly has plans to make its first Windows Phone device, which will look exactly like the SIII.

Well, there are few more hours to go before Samsung will unveil its much awaited flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy SIII. The past few months have seen numerous rumours doing rounds about the specs and look for the device. In a few more hours, we will know what it is the device all about. But one of the most striking detail that is surfacing hours before the launch of the device is that SIII will also have a Windows Phone variant.
The Korean handset maker reportedly has plans to make its first Windows Phone device, which will look exactly like the SIII. The device will run on the latest Windows 8. A source close to the matter said that ‘because of the drastic changes in the Windows Phone 8 OS, Samsung will be able to use the Galaxy S III’s faster processor, bigger and higher resolution display and of course, LTE, which will make swapping over specs into a Windows Phone device, easy as pie’.
The expected specs of the device are: Faster dual/quad core processor (depending on region) 12.19-cm (4.7-inch) HD display 12-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera NFC capabilities Dedicated camera button Samsung Cloud Support Improved Photo Studio LTE support
