Friday, May 18, 2012:
ASUS came out with its much-hyped Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet in March this year. And now, it is all set to release the 3G version of the tablet soon. The Transfomer Prime (without 3G) is priced at Rs 49,990 and boasts of NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It was the first tablet to be powered by a 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Talking about the market response to the Transformer Prime tablet, Unaez Quraishi, director--sales and distribution, ASUS India, said: “The response has been substantial. In terms of numbers, it is not that huge but we wanted to show the product to the masses and it has worked. We have enquiries coming in again for the product.”
He informed that ASUS will be coming out with a 3G version of the Transformer Prime soon. “We will get a 3G version of Transformer Prime too. I can't disclose the exact pricing and launch date as we are in the production stage right now,” said Quraishi. |
