Saturday, June 16, 2012: We reported earlier about the launch of BSNL tablets on 15 May and yes, they are here. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited launched its much awaited low cost tablet PCs yesterday in Indore.
At the launch event, Ganesh Chandra Pandey, general manager- BSNL Indore said that the tablet PCs have been launched in accordance with its commitment of dedicating high-tech and state-of-the-art gadgets to the city. The tablet will reportedly benefit lakhs of students in academic excelence and the IT companies. The two tablets launched are Penta TPAD-IS703C and Penta TPAD-IS701C.

The company is hopeful that with the launch of this low priced touch pad in the city, it is on the path of making Indore a hub for telecommunication revelation.

BSNL has made available the touch pads at five outlets based at Nehru Park, Radhe Computers, Orbit Mall, City Centre and Jauhri Palace. A spokesperson said that the touch pads can be used in the Wi-Fi mode also.
