The Android ICS running tablet is priced at Rs 9,990 and offers voice calls via SIM card.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012: iBerry, the company credited for being one of the few players to launch Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablets in the country has introduced another tablet in the market. This time, the new Auxus AX03G tablet comes with a SIM card slot enabling users to make voice calls. The Auxus AX03G sports a 17.74-cm (7-inch) multi-touch capacitive screen, runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and has 1 GB RAM. The tablet offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G (via SIM card) as connectivity options. The company did not provide any further information about the product's specification, but its most interesting feature is the whopping 24 GB of internal memory. This makes a lot of storage space for feeding a large amount of music, videos, documents in the tablet.
The company has priced the tablet at Rs 9,990 which is quite competitive, given the number of tablets swarming in the market. “We are sure this product would create a big market impact in the budget tablet category and we are proud to be part of the process of setting a new benchmark in the Tablet market. The launch and its subsequent delivery will happen in the 1st week of July. By then, the price of Auxus AX02 will be dropped to Rs 7990," said the company's spokesperson.

The trend of subsequent drop in prices of older products isn't new and the company happens to work in a similar model. Users looking for voice call-enabled tablets can also look for the foneTab tablet. The 18.34-cm (7.1-inch) tablet offers voice calling facility at a price of Rs 6,999 but you would be needing to settle with Android 2.2 here.
