The new Swype keyboard supports over 55 languages and users can avail multiple input methods like Swype, speak, tap or write.

Friday, June 22, 2012: The new Swype keyboard was unveiled today by Nuance Communications, that works on both touch and voice inputs with unique adaptive capabilities to predict the next word. It has a great memory and records users' preferences. The new Swype becomes more personalised every time a user Swype, speak, tap or write. Nuance Communication previously developed the Dragon voice recognition engine that added brains to Apple's Siri to recognise voice. Every word that a user types gets added to a personal dictionary. Also, Swype keyboard can learn new words from e-mails, texts and posts. This is not all, it supports over 55 languages right from the device. User can avail multiple input methods and the keyboard can interpret a user's personal accent, language style, thus helping them to have a fast, flexible and accurate typing experience.
The most interesting feature is that Swype keyboard can predict the next word the user is about to enter. The Next Word Prediction capability gives suggestions on the basis of users' usage history which makes prediction more accurate with each use.

Currently, it is available in its beta phase and can be downloaded from beta.swype.com.
