Tuesday, June 26, 2012: Taiwan-based HTC has launched its Desire C smartphone with Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich along with HTC Sense 4.0. After launching the One series, it seems that HTC is in a rush to improve its business, especially in India. The Desire C smartphone include all the goodies a user may desire that too at an affordable price of just Rs 14,999. The HTC Desire C boosts of a powerful, yet rich studio-quality sound experience that is enabled through the combination of optimised Beats Audio and hardware through its Beats Audio technology. This integration enables a rich, clear audio experience to customers no matter if they’re listening to music or playing a game.
It sports a 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus back camera and has no secondary front camera. The phone runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich on a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU clocked at 600 MHz with 512 MB of RAM. Powered by a Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery, the phone is designed to attract first time smartphone users. It includes 4 GB of internal memory and can be expanded up to 32 GB.

Through HTC Desire C’s deep integration of DropBox and 25 GB of free online space, users can also back-up, browse and share photos, videos and documents, whether stored locally or in the cloud.
