Tuesday, June 26, 2012: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, showcased its Wi-Fi modem series at the GSMA Mobile Asia Expo 2012 today, including the WCDMA Wi-Fi modem E355 and the EVDO Wi-Fi modem EC315. The Huawei Wi-Fi modem series function both as a data card for a single user and as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, which can simultaneously connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices, allowing users to enjoy internet connectivity anytime, anywhere.

The Huawei Wi-Fi modem series come with a USB interface and unlike traditional data cards which can only be charged via a computer, the Huawei Wi-Fi modem series offer users the flexibility of charging with a variety of USB chargers, offering true on-the-go connectivity.

In August this year, Huawei will also introduce its TD-SCDMA Wi-Fi modem, providing operators in China a Wi-Fi modem that is compatible with their network standard. This will further expand Huawei’s Wi-Fi modem portfolio, offering consumers even more options for internet connectivity on-the-go.
