MTS Cuts Internet Charges By 60 Per Cent For Delhi-NCR

Along with the tariff reduction, the company has also introduced special tariff voucher (STV) of Rs 698 that will come with 4 GB data usage and 60 days validity.

Wednesday, June 27, 2012: In this time when it is hard to manage without Internet, what could be better than having a cheaper Internet connection? MTS has slashed Internet usage tariffs by up to 60 per cent in Delhi NCR circle. "We have specially designed these tariffs to provide our data customers with a world class mobile Internet experience at the most affordable price backed by increased usage benefits," said Shankar Bali, MTS India- chief operating officer, (Delhi NCR and Haryana Circle).
Earlier for 512 MB data, the customer had to pay Rs 348, which translates into 67.9 paisa/MB. With revised rates, the customer will get 1.5 GB data usage for Rs 348 which translates into 22.5 paisa/MB, which is over 60 per cent drop in usage charges, the company added.

The data plans will now start at Rs 96 with 1GB data usage and one day validity and goes upto Rs 998 with 6 GB data usage and 90 days validity. Along with the tariff reduction, the company has also introduced special tariff voucher (STV) of Rs 698 that will come with 4 GB data usage and 60 days validity.
