Sleipnir Releases New Version Linking Desktop And Smartphone Browsing
Thursday, June 28, 2012:
Fenrir, Inc., a global software company focused on well-designed Internet tools, today released a new version of its popular web browser Sleipnir. The latest version, Sleipnir 3, features a Smartphone App Linker that allows users to “bridge the gap” between desktop and mobile browsing. It also enhances the simple design and multi-touch and mouse gesture browsing features that have given Sleipnir a reputation as a popular, innovative web browser.
The new Smartphone App Linker functionality allows users to research directions on their desktop system, as just one example, and then push the address and map to their phone as they walk out the door.
Sleipnir 3 is free and available immediately for download at: http://www.sleipnirbrowser.com
"Internet access from mobile devices continues to increase. But most users also have a computer with a much larger screen that they rely on. It’s not one or the other: it’s both. We thought it made sense to easily connect the two,” said Kazushi Makino, CEO of Fenrir, Inc. “Web browsers should still be innovating and adding new features. New hardware platforms demand this. Innovative users demand this. Sleipnir 3 is built specifically to rise to the challenge.”
