Wednesday, July 11, 2012: Team Computers (India’s leading IT solution provider) has recently launched the Institute of Business Intelligence at their state of art command center in Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ranjan Chopra, CMD, Team Computers said “The aim of IBI is to develop solution architects and not just BI mechanics. The solution architect asks and understands why a certain dashboard/ analysis are needed and how it can solve business problems”.

“Getting qualified QlikView solution architects has always been tough for enterprises. With Institute of Business Intelligence, where the course content has been driven from the best practices in business intelligence deployed at more than 175 customers across India and United States, we aim to ensure that getting good resources becomes easier,” comments Mr. A Rajendran, Director, Team Computers.

The Institute is focused on building solution experts on business intelligence platforms like QlikView, which was recently entitled as “Belle of the Ball” amongst BI Dilettantes by Gartner and there is a strong need in India for deploying BI solution based on QlikView to help make decisions faster. This move will further foster the growth.

First batch of IBI has seen a rich blend of students with experience as CA, Engineers and Commerce. With hands-on practical training they will be ready from day 1 to address business challenges. People with prior experience in QlikView can become Gurus and people who want to start can get a great launch pad. Going forward other Business Intelligence solutions like IBM Cognos are also being incorporated.
