Monday, July 23, 2012: Sony has announced its first Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone- Xperia Neo L. However, the official release date has not been announced yet. The Android device is available for pre-order from Infibeam at a price of Rs 18,599 and you can expect to get the device delivered by 7 August 2012. The unique point of this Android mate is that it is certified by Sony's next generation PlayStation and offers superior gaming and entertainment.
The smartphone features a 10.2-cm (4.0-inch) FWVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixel display resolution. The display screen is scratch resistant. Based on a 1 GHz Scorpion Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 512 MB of RAM, the Xperia Neo L runs Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has 1 B of internal memory, expandable to up to 32 GB through a micro SD memory card.

Sporting a 5 megapixel autofocus main camera with LED flash, this device is capable of recording up to 720p HD video at 30 frames per second. It also includes a front camera, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
