Monday, July 30, 2012:
Nokia is looking forward to stay ahead in the smartphone market by launching the Lumia 910 and Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 based phones. Rumours have it that Nokia will unveil its first two Windows Phone 8 devices at a 'World Event' very soon. If this is to be believed, then the Finland based company will be the first one to launch a Windows 8 phone and will remain to be the only manufacturer to sell Windows 8 devices for at least the coming one month or so.
At San Francisco last month, Microsoft showcased its latest Windows 8 operating system and claimed it to be the most advanced mobile OS. According to a easternmorningherald.com report, Windows Phone 8 should support a wide range of new features, particularly support for multi-core CPUs and new resizable versions of "live tiles," the operating system's iconic app and widgets.
The latest Windows Phone 8 OS features multi-core support with Belfoire and supports NFC that helps in sharing files by tapping their phone on another NFC-equipped device. Windows Phone 8 supports two new screen resolutions — 1280x768 and 1280x720, which will make it compatible with handsets having high-definition 720p displays.
