Tuesday, August 07, 2012: Here comes another addition to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich family of tablets. India-based Champion Computers Pvt Ltd has announced its first Android tablet named Wtab 7.2. The tablet sports a 18.29-cm (7.2-inch) display and is priced at Rs 4,899.
The Wtab 7.2 tablet has an ARM Cortex A8 architecture based 1.5 GHz processor, which can put power worries aside. The device comes with a 18.29-cm (7-inch) display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, with a true 5 point touch capacitive touch based touch input system. It runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, has a 512MB RAM, an inbuilt 4GB of flash memory, which is further expandable up to an additional 32 GB with the use of micro SD cards.

Talk about connectivity with the Wtab 7.2, it comes with support for 3G dongle support through USB port and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, which means you can stay connected to the Internet anywhere anytime. The Wtab also features a 1 megapixel front camera for video calling and imaging support. Weighing just 320gms, the Wtab is one of the lightest tablet tablets in its category. According to company claims, it can offer a battery back-up of 4-5 hrs and comes with a 1 year warranty.
