Friday, August 10, 2012: Micromax continues its Android journey with the most popular Gingerbread version. The company today launched its A84 Superfone Elite in the Indian market at a high end price of Rs 9,999 compared to its economical Android handsets, which generally hovers around the range of Rs 4000 to Rs 6000. Featuring a 1 Ghz processor, the MicroMax A84 Superfone Elite runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS and sports a 9.9-cm (3.9-inch) capacitive WVGA touchscreen with dual camera.
The phone includes a 5 megapixel rear camera LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera for video chatting. It has support for Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, Wi-fi and 3G connectivity along with 32 GB of expandable memory.
