Opera has revolutionised the browsing experience on mobile devices. You need not crib that mobile devices still miss the pleasure of true browsing experience on mobile devices. Even you have a phone that doesn't have a stylus or touch screen, don't worry.
Just install the Opera Mini 4 beta onto your mobile device -- type mini.opera.com/beta on your web browser, it installs the beta within seconds and takes you through a simple setting process. Once the browser is installed, you enter a new world of mobile browsing. Load the new browser and enter the website you want. You will get the same look as you get on your PC desktop -- full Web page.
You will also find a 'wow' virtual mouse hovering on your screen which you can control trough your navigation button or the joystick. For quick movements you can also use 4,2,6,8 keys for horizontal and vertical movement. That's not all, if you want to experience the old scroll up - down browsing, click on key 1 and it would open a pop-up window, click on fit to width, and you are back on the same old experience.
One you are up on the browser, go to 'tool > setting' and click on High Image Quality as well as Auto Zoom. Now you can enjoy truly high resolution images; you wouldn't have experienced on mobile browser ever before. Opera has also included all the cool CSS support you need to make your mobile web pages look pixel perfect.
The browser supports most of the website, but it could not open Google Docs or other such online productive services. Opera claims that the brower is faster than the predecessor, Mini Opera 3 as well as other browsers. |
